aku terluka. walaupun luka ni nampak kecil, tapi kesakitannya tetap terasa. tajamnya sehelai kertas yang mampu menggurisku, hanya sehelai kertas. aku pernah terbelah telapak tanganku dengan pisau, darah mencurah-curah, tetapi, mengapa luka kali ini bukan seperti biasa. aku terpaksa menampal plaster kerana aku tidak mampu menulis dengan keadaan sebegini.

kecoh lahh lu. pasal luka sikit pon nak post kat blog.

sebenarnya, ada benda yang lebih penting daripada luka di jariku ini. Luka yang kecil terasa pedih, tetapi apatah lagi apabila aku melukai hati nya. luka yang tak dapat dilihat. luka yang besar. berapa banyak torehan, berapa banyak yang aku calarkan. jelas aku tidak dapat rasakan kesakitan yang dialaminya. hanya kemaafan yang boleh ku pinta. aku mahu dia bahagia.

Post kali ini mungkin akan mengundang kontroversi bagi sesiapa sahaja yang tengok gambar di bawah ini. Jadi, apa yang anda fikir?

Tengok gambar je mungkin korang tak tahu minuman apakah ini sebab tulisan jepun. takkan minuman berkarbonat berjenama Komunis Bintang Tiga pulak kan. tapi kalau diperhatikan dan diteliti perkataan bahasa inggeris yang kecil tu, korang dapat bace statement ni "this is the BEER that's great for good times at home".

Persoalan yang mungkin wujud di dalam otak anda :

Post kali ini berkisar tentang study trip ke Sapporo Beer Sendai Factory. Lawatan ini adalah bertujuan mendedahkan para pelajar jurusan Material Science and Engineering berkenaan penghasilan beer, yang amat famous sekali di Japan. Semuanya berunsurkan ilmiah. Pengetahuan dasar chemistry dan biology diperlukan dalam teknologi pembuatan beer. Jadi, tak payah lahh korang fikir negatif ey, jangan risau, tiada unsur2 'drinking' pon kay..

Yoshida Sensei, siap pakai lab coat lagi. tengah register group rombongan ktorang.

Sapporo Beer, antara company yang popular sebaris dengan Suntory, Asahi, Kirin, Orion, etc.. (google lahh kalau tak tahu) Orang jepun memang kuat minum arak, kalau boleh kat dalam masakan dorang sume nak letak arak je. Dorang ckp, arak terbaik. bila2 pon nak arak je, time summer sbb cuace panas, bila minum, fuhh lega and boleh kembalikan mood. bile malam2 kuar makan ramai2, 'kanpai' sampai mabuk la. tapi korang akan tengok keesokan pagi, dorang pegi office, keje dengan muka penuh semangat. tak budget la semalam dorg 'tunggang' pon. heran aku.

ni budak2 kelas ku. budak2 ni still underage, dorang baik je. Mito-chan, si pemain soft tenis handalan. Nana-chan, si champion Judo beb. Rika-chan, alamak lupe lak die main ape..

ni first time la aku tengok arak depan mata kan. selame ni nak pandang pon tak hingin. sebab kte tau dye haram. same macam b**i, benda2 haram ni, kte nak pandang pon tak lalu kan, hilang selera. okay lahh, nak ctew lak psl pembikinan beer ni. ni sume controller yang mengendalikan pressure atau suhu machine-machine yang memproses beer. korang tau ke arak tu asal2 ape benda? ade beberapa steps yang penting dalam pembuatan beer.

STEP 1 : Choosing the best raw materials

ni lah raw material beer yang sebenar, barli. korang mesti penah minum barli kan. tapi yang korang minum tu halal la. Barli-barli yang terbaik aje dipilih, sebab bak kata diorang, barli yang baik akan menghasilkan beer yang baik.

ni pulak 'hops'. dalam bahasa kte, tak tau lahh pulak. lu pikirlah sniri. the green female flowers yang telah dikeringkan. ni sume di pamerkan di ruangan khas untuk tujuan lawatan di kilang mereka.

Kaya lahh kan pakcik-pakcik petani ni. memang permintaan untuk barli dan gandum sangat tinggi. patutlah petani kat jepun pegi sawah naik landrover atau MPV wehh. tapi, company Sapporo Beer ni pon ade ladang barli sniri, so dorang memang always tak penah kekurangan stok la.

STEP 2 : Germination

Barley direndamkan dalam air, untuk increase enzyme activity. dalam proses ni, akar dan kulit barli akan tertanggal dengan sendiri nye. Then, material2 tadi di mix kan dalam hot water sebelum bertukar jadi sweet rice porridge.

STEP 3 : Fermentation by adding yeast.

Ilustrasi proses fermentasi. Solution tadi disejukkan sehingga 10℃ hingga 8℃. Then, yeast akan ditambah dalam solution tersebut utk meningkatkan rate of fermentation.

Wajah sebenar tong yang menjalankan process fermentation. manisan atau gula atau sweet porridge yang dihasilkan awal tadi akan bertukar jadi alcohol and carbon dioxide. pada stage ini, ia dipanggil 'young beer'.

STEP 4 : Maturing

Young beer diperam selama lebih kurang 10 hari, dengan temperature 0℃.

Sangat sejuk di ruangan ini. Dalam tempoh 10 hari, carbon dioxide akan dissolve dan young beer akan beransur-ansur menjadi 'matured'.

STEP 5 : Filtration

Yeast is removed from the beer aging.

STEP 6 : Packaging

Suasana di tempat untuk packaging beer. cube kire berape banyak botol kaca hitam tu... panjang kan track nye. memang effektif cara pengendalian orang2 jepun ni.

proses packaging dilakukan sepenuhnya oleh machine. pekerja memang sedikit dalam kilang ni. 2-3 orang camtu je.

STEP 7 : Labelling (glass bottle, aluminium can, etc..)

YEBISU. beer yang famous daripada Sapporo Beer.

Jenis2 label beer (daripada tahun 1876 hingga sekarang) dipamerkan.

ataupun dalam bahasa ibunda, "money or love. which is important?" haha. jangan main-main ~~cinta~~. dapat award 'the most attractive speech' beb! sebelum start speech terkejut gak sebab tetibe je sensei from my college, lecturer yg ajar budak2 mechi pon rupe-rupenye masuk bertanding gak. tapi category english speech la. takkan la japanese kan. konfem2 ktorg kalah..

speech forum kali ke-64 ney dianjurkan oleh News Day School bertempat di Sendai City Hall. ade 2 kategori, iaitu japanese and english. memang lancar je my speech, tapi perasaan cuak dalam hati hanya Tuhan yang tahu. konon2 buat slumber ~~badak~~ :p . cakap je, janji boleh finish kan speech tuw. heh. pape pon, mmg terbaikk ahh natori campus. tiga2 orang menang. me, robert, and sensei :) semua award ade 6, jadi ktorg conquer half la kan.

Homestay di zao town, located about 1 hour travel from sendai main city, japan. kepada sesape yg belum pernah pegi homestay, i suggest kan u all pegi la. gain something from there. experience ney susah nak dapat. teringin jugak nak homestay kat mana-mana pulau kat malaysia. kowt2 dapat makan ikan bakar ke sotong kurita ke, jadik lah..

ini apa yang terjadi pada pagi tersebut. pagi2 lagi ktorg dah lambat.

1. bangun lewat sebab tido lewat :p

2. berlari-lari bersama robert ke Natori Station.

3. took a train (JR Line) from Natori St to Nagamachi St.

4. changed train through subway line, from Nagamachi Station to Koutoudai-kouen Station.

Welcome to my host-family's house. A unique wooden house. i don't know how much they spent for building this house. superb. This is a space in the kitchen. it is viewable from inside nor outside. When night comes, there is an automatic window shield. u just have to press a button on the remote control and these transparent windows will be fully covered.

yuuki, the 15th-year-old cat. actually it is rarely to find any japanese family or individuals having a cat as their pet. because they love the dog more. hanjing mereka comel2, siap dipakaikan baju cantik2 lagi. jeles ohh.

a delicious breakfast. white rice with miso soup and fresh salmon! ahh. want some more. but i really can not go lahh with 'natto', a sticky groundnuts paste, i felt like vomitting, err u try yourself lahh.

In the Mazda car. On our way to Shiroishi. I was given the priority to seat in front because i can take a look on the surroundings. yeah, most of the Japanese are really kind to foreigners.

Arrived at Shiroishi Castle. the admission fee also was paid by my host-family :)

Admission fee :

1. the 3-storey castle donjon (adult 300円, child 150円)

2. the 3-D movie on the 3rd floor of the Mini Museum (adult 300円, child 150円 )

3. the Samurai Residence (adult 200円 , child 100円)

The front entrance of the Honmaru Castle's compound.

The stone wall are constructed using different stone masonary methods. The part directly underneath the castle donjon was built using the oldest Japanese traditional stone laying method called Nozurazumi. While the stone wall from underneath the earthern wall to the Otemon, are processed stones and the gaps between each stones are filled.

There is a well, shaped like a house in front of the stone wall. This is one of the 4 wells in the castle complex, which the castle residents could obtain water during an attack.

Kojuro Katakura's Castle Town

Shiroishi Castle was reconstructed after the demolition in 1874. Amongst the reconstruction of wooden castle donjons after the 2nd World War, the height and area of Shiroishi Castle is ranked number 1 in Japan.

The rectangular and round loopholes are used for shooting arrows.

okay. last activity for the 2nd day. a visit to Kokeshi Doll Museum. Kokeshi are unique wood toys that have been created and developed exclusively in Tohoku region.

Kokeshi こけし (wooden doll)

Kokeshi has a simple and lovely face. There are several styles of kokeshi dolls; Naruko, Yajiro, Togatta, etc..

The Togatta style of kokeshi (Zao Town)

It is characterized by hand-painted flower patterns of chrysanthemums, plums, etc., and gentle face appearances.

It is characterized by the head as if covered with a beret.

i have never heard about this weird thing in our malaysian education system. never. what does it mean by an alphabet 'S'? sengal, sewel, sampah, shit, saiko? saya terfikir aiyoo teruk sangat ke hasil kerja tangan saya, sampai sensei tulis perkataan S kt atas kertas. sampai hati sensei buat begitu. kenape ahh? malas la nak tanye budak jepun, nanti dorang ckp ape pulak. so, diam aje lahh.

setelah diselidik kat dalam student guide, barulah faham. 'S' pelik itu bermaksud 'sugoi' atau 'subarashii' atau senang cerita 'super special'. haha da nak nanges da ingatkan teruk sangat hasil kerjaku.

menulis report untuk eksperimen adalah sangat sukar, bagi saya. apatah lagi jika bukan di dalam bahasa ibunda, yakni bahasa inggeris. jadi, hanya perlu bersabar menulisnya dalam 日本語。must do observation. must do translation. must correct my grammar. eksperimen kali ini amat rumit kerana perlu mengira jumlah carbon C% secara manual bagi setiap material iron dan steel. agak sakit hati.

i got another extra 2 marks +2 for my materials science's assignment. haha yes, only me. and again, only me. malaysia boleh!
7 + 2 = 9 = 128.57%

tiada sebab-sebab tertentu saya dapat extra marks. hanya kerana saya tersilap dan terlebih buat soalan, saya dapat extra sedangkan budak jepun yang bijak pun dapat markah maksimum 7/7 (kalau yang dapat markah penuh la) . total marks dikira sebagai markah mid-sem, jadi untunglah saya. kalau ada rezeki, saya dapat extra marks lagi :)

inilah soalan yang terlebih buat. hybridization of carbon compounds. mungkin tangan saya rajin, mungkin hati saya suka, maka dapatlah extra. huhu tiada tujuan berbangga, hanya sekadar berkongsi bersama. material engineering sukar, jadi saya perlu meningkatkan usaha.

Hari kedua menyaksikan kekalahan Department of Materials Science and Engineering Tahun 3 kepada pelajar senior dalam acara bola keranjang dan bola tampar. Maka ini, berakhirlah perjuangan para pelajar S3 sehingga peringkat semi-final.

Untuk mengisi masa lapang dan mengisi perut yang kosong, saya dan rakan-rakan singgah di kedai soba (saya x makan soba okay). Di sana, kami menikmati かき氷 air batu campur (ABC) serta たこ焼 takoyaki.

Hari ini sangat panas. Serius panas. Lebih kurang 25 darjah celcius. Pancaran matahari sangat terik dan hari ini saya berpeluh.

Di Jepun, rata-rata penduduknya terutama di kawasan luar bandar mempunyai sebuah basikal per person. Mungkin kerana mahu menyelamatkan bumi daripada pemanasan global serta mengurangkan total karbon dioksida dan gas beracun yang dibebaskan secara berleluasa melalui ekzos kenderaan yang menggunakan petrol dan plumbum. ataupun, kerana taraf hidup yang tinggi, penduduk jepun mengambil langkah untuk berjimat dengan hanya menggunakan basikal.

Saya turut menyertai kempen kesedaran ini dengan membeli sebuah basikal.

3. tiba di station. Beli ticket pergi-balik ke Sentral. Luckily train sampai tepat waktu.
4. di Sentral, minum kat Dunkin jap. sebab TJ tak breakfast lagi.

Hari ini pergi ke sekolah. rindu sumpah rindu. rindu kehidupan 0307. jika. jika masa dapat berputar kembali, daku ingin memilih untuk hidup di soksek. bukan kerna sesiapa. ia kerna diriku sendiri. maaf ff. daku mahu jadi diriku atas dasar diriku. tak faham? tak mengapa. 5 tahun yang aku buang begitu sahaja. betul. 5 tahun yang tak dapat daku nikmati. sudahlah. jangan pernah bicara lagi. peluang kanak2 mengenal erti dewasa sudah tiada. sudah. Okay? ia tak mungkin berlaku. masa daku di sana sudah tamat. Lupakan. Tutup cerita.

Hari ini pergi ambil sijil spm. dan dapatkan pengesahan untuk surat JPA. buat apa nak daftar banyak kali. susah. pindah aja lah di INTEC. tak tahu. entah. ia satu arahan. ikut tatacara mungkin. buat saja. selepas selesai kemudian pergi peluk2 cium2 cikgu cikgu sebentar. "FF", panggil cikgu. ya cikgu masih ingat nama ini. Ingat benar dia. dalam hatiku. maaf cikgu. jangan tanya kenapa. ''Sudah besar kamu. Study macam mana? Bila nak fly?'' Antara soalan mereka. Ya. Study susah. Insyaallah saya akan buat yang terbaik.

Apa yang daku kagum. teacher jalilah. lain dari yang lain. cikgu yang sangat mengenali. dia tahu bagaimana daku dari form 1 sampai form 5. kata2 nya sangat bermakna. terima kasih.

Karnival IPT 2009

Bored. bored. this morning i moved myself to the dewan peperiksaan utama USM (i drove babe!) menyibuk-ing diri at the carnival where exhibitions and peer-to-peer sessions held by 20 public universities, private colleges, polytechnics, community colleges, National Service (NS), Public Service Department (PSD).....etc. There were also blood donation campaign ("no! i takut jarum!") and the Xpax booth, promoting the SOX and UOX packages - accidentally met my l0ng-time juniors. awatif, murni, lily (practising to be a photographer i guessed), husna, thini ( haa kantoi about ceper hihihi) , farzana, amira... etc whose i couldn't remember their names. It was like a Jom Heboh event - crowded with ppl, only that they wore school uniforms. MCKK. SERATAS. BM HIGH SCHOOL. Whatever kids~ Even the weather was like the Sahara desert, but the number of makhluk tuhan kept increasing. Arghh! You knew what it feels when facing this critical situation. Rimas. Rimas. Lemas! haha. Anyway, "annually", I got free files and pens :)

Hari ini bosan. Takde menda pekdah kew nk bwat? Tiba2 min call. Jom mari pergi Qb. Mula2 macam taknak. Bukan sebab nak study. Tapi sebab takde transport. " bodoh kao ff! taknak memandu, padahal ada kereta" kataku kepada diriku. Tapi ku gagahkan juga untuk pergi kerna zaty bersemangat juga. Ye lahh. Hampir 5 tahun tidak lepak sama2. Bukan tidak ketemu. Tapi masing2 dengan hal sendiri.

Okay, mari. Lewat 1 jam dari masa yang dijanjikan. Pergi toilet sebab min nak makeup. haha :) Lepas tuw, zaty tiba. peluk2 cium2 tiga2 orang kat tengah2 Qb macam Jejak Kasih. Lama tak jumpa kan. Rindu la. Mari! Selepas memalukan diri di Secret Recipe, lepak rotiboy kejap sebab zaty sangat lapar. Padan muka sapa suro tak makan awal2 :P Memang Penang sangat kecil. Terjumpa thini dengan ceper di GSC. ingatkan siapa. Amboi adik bukan nak belanja kew apa kew. Lepas tuw, ingatkan nak tengox DragonBall tapi 3.30 da full. So pilih Watchmen. Dalam Watchmen ada haiwan yang macam zebra dengan tiger. Apabila zebra+tiger=zinger. Oleh ituw sebelum pulang kami makan Zinger Burger kejap. Urmm sedap.

Yuhuu I passed my Japanese Language Proficiency Test JLPT Level 3! but it was not really a big deal - i wish i could score higher. ahh! a lil bit more from my own target. and my heartiest congrats to my batch. We have proved it guys~ this is my result of JLPT Level 3 conducted in Dec 2008 :

writing - vocabulary : 100 /100
listening : 87 / 100
reading - grammar : 187 / 200
total : 374 / 400

Overall was 93.5%. Alhamdulillah, but i'm not not satisfied with my performance. Inilah akibatnya main2 dan tidak serius :( saya harap saya akan berubah dan belajar bersungguh-sungguh.

By the way, wish me luck in my JLPT Level 2 :) this coming December.

What the h*** is this? Only 1 question but with too many steps?? I had found something weird about myself. Since i left my schoolhood time, i got "math anxiety" or what is known as stagefright. Someone is not completely dumb about math, but during the math test, she/he is fear of going completely blank.

The problem that i faced now. How haa? I am really afraid of my Monbukagakusho exam ( the Japanese Ministry exam ). I can say that i could score and easily grab an 'A' during my primary and secondary school, but there's really different when i stepped into this foundation course. Do i really have the "math anxiety"?

For the most part, math anxiety is the fear about doing the math right, our minds draw a blank and we think we'll fail and of course the more frustrated and anxious our minds become, the greater the chance for drawing blanks. Added pressure of having time limits on math tests and exams also cause the levels of anxiety grow for many students.

My first-made onigiri

We have a cultural class today, a more interesting one than the usual. With Sensei's helps and our determinations, we learned how to make the rice ball (onigiri). Bersungguh-sungguhnya ayat. Eventhough the look of my onigiri was not nice enough, it was a nice enough taste. Yummy yummy~ I include the recipe here :

Ingredients :

4 cups steamed Japanese rice
8 strips of dried nori (seaweed)
Salt to taste
*For fillings:
ume (pickled plum-asam boi)
grilled salted salmon

Preparation :

Grill salted salmon slices. After the salmon cools, tear it into small chunks and set aside. Cook steamed rice. Put about a half cup of steamed rice in a rice bowl. Make a dent in the center of the rice and place fillings, such as ume (pickled plum-asam boi) and grilled salmon. Wet your hands in water so that the rice won't stick. Rub some salt on your hands. Place the rice in the rice bowl on your hands. Form the rice into a round or a triangle, by pressing lightly with your both palms. Wrap the rice ball with a strip of nori.

Straight As for 1,831

Of the 21,917 students who sat for the PMR examination in Penang this year, 1,831 students achieved straight As.

The students sat between nine and seven subjects.

State Education director Ibrahim Mohamad said yesterday that 66.82% of the students achieved minimum passes in all the subjects.

He also said the three schools that achieved 100% passes this year were SM Sains Tun Syed Sheh Shahabudin, SMK Bukit Jambul and SMK Dato Onn.

“This year’s results also show that the minimum passing rate for English in the state at 80.71% surpassed the national rate of 74.8% while the minimum passing rate for Mathematics in Penang was 87.41% compared with the national 87.3%,’’ he told a press conference at the state Education Department at Jalan Bukit Gambier.

Just finished watching these episodes. cute and dramatic that i can say all about. but the so-called-hero had always run thoughout these whole movie. i also dont understand why u can tune into mysoju. just copied the simple description ( because i malas menulis) :
